Pain can happen for so many different reasons. When the pain is near a joint, we often look to the joint as the cause of the pain. It is possible that the pain a person has is because of degeneration or inflammation of the joint. Frequently, however, it is quite common for at least some of the pain to be caused by irritation or pinching of nerves in the same area. One of the things that separates what we do for pain at The How Clinic from other providers in the area is that we look for and treat multiple causes of pain. Dr. How specializes in tracking down the root cause of pain using ultrasound and his knowledge of how the body works. If you, or someone you know would benefit from having less pain, make an appointment for an in depth evaluation with Dr. How.
